Happy 250 America!

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services recommends eating locally grown produce. We got that in abundance here. Other recommendations include avoiding Cilantro & Parsley, the two items most frequently mentioned by North Carolina cycolsporiasis patients. Also rinse and wash off fresh veggies and fruit. That is always a good idea, even if the produce is organic, there’s lots of natural organisms in dirt that can cause trouble.
Should you be worried? 60% of the 718 cases of cycolsporiasis cases reported in North Carolina are in Wake County, out east in Raliegh- Durham. So come on over to the farmers’ market. The only explosive thing here is LOVE.
The farmers market at Village at Robinson Farm is open every Saturday and Wednesday, 9-3.
