Love Thy Customer, Thank Thy Neighbor

“Imagine what our neighborhoods would be like if each of us offered just one kind word to another person.  There are so many stories about the lack of courtesy, impatience, road and restaurant rage.  Think of the ripple effect that can be created when we nourish someone.  One kind empathetic word has a wonderful way of turning into many.”  Mr. Fred Rogers

The staff at the Farmers’ Market and all of the businesses at Village at Robinson Farm THANK YOU for your continued patience as we all navigate new challenges of staffing and supply shortages.   In the next few weeks as students return to college and we face possible further restrictions and shortages due to rising infections, businesses everywhere may struggle to serve you as quickly as they would like, lines may be longer, some items you are looking for may be unavailable.  If you feel annoyed or frustrated please remember that those serving you and other customers at your side may be facing challenges, including coping with the illness and death of loved ones, lack of childcare, loss of jobs, lower wages, or pending eviction.  Every interaction with cashier, waitress, bartender, stock clerk, busboy, hostess or fellow customer is an opportunity to create a ripple of kindness that becomes a tsunami of Love in our community.

It has come to our attention that there have been SEVERAL instances of Kindness, Patience and Generosity among our customers.  We are overwhelmed with Gratitude & ask that Ya’ll keep it up!
